Carol Brazzil joined the Shine Team in 2002. She grew up on a farm and ranch in nearby Gatesville and is a longtime resident of Central Texas. She enjoys spending her free time with family and her husband taking care of their livestock.
Carol earned a degree in Business from Tarleton State University and a Master’s degree in Education/Counseling from Baylor University. She has been a business teacher, guidance counselor, and assistant principal in the Copperas Cove, Temple, and Killeen ISDs. Always having an interest in business and real estate, she decided to utilize her skills in a different setting and obtained a Texas Real Estate License and later her Broker’s license.

Patrick Kerr joined the Shine Team in February 2015 as a Buyer Specialist. His wife, Barbara, joined him shortly after.
Patrick & Barbara moved to Central Texas in 2008 to be closer to family in the military. They were referred to the Shine Team to purchase a home. They were impressed with the exceptional care, service and professionalism they experienced as buyer clients and purchased the home they live in today! They spent their first few years here working with their family, helping them develop their businesses. When considering what to do next, a phone call from Jean Shine, asking if they would join the Shine Team, was their answer! Growing up in a military family, Pat has first-hand experience of moving every few years to a new community. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela and his parents are from Puerto Rico. Spanish is his first language, although you wouldn’t suspect it when you first speak with him! SE HABLA ESPANOL!
A graduate of Florida State University, Pat lived in Florida (Tampa Bay) where he worked first as a Director of Parks & Recreation. With a focus on kids and family recreation, he developed programs, coordinated activities, organized team sports, and coached soccer. Later he transitioned to financial services to serve people by helping them achieve their financial goals.
Patrick & Barbara have raised four children, have four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Their home has been the hub for family gatherings. They look forward to helping you and your family find your home here in Central Texas.

Christine, aka Chrissy, decided on a career in Real Estate knowing that she wanted to help others realize their dreams of home ownership. Born and raised, right here, in Central Texas. A “Show Me” state native originally from a small town in Southeast Missouri, Katrina and her family moved to Fort Cavazos formally known as Fort Hood in 1986. Her passion for exceptional customer service and a dedication to assisting others in obtaining their goals has led to over 20 years of experience in professional business management, financial banking literacy, real estate property management, and sales.
Katrina obtained her Texas real estate license in 2004 and joined the Shine Team as a Client Care Coordinator in 2017. She excelled quickly in that position and was soon promoted to our Director of Leads were she strives daily to enhance our customer experience and create raving fans. She is responsible for developing, orchestrating, managing our customer outreach programs, and the direct supervision and training of our Client Care Coordinators.
Outside of their busy careers you can find Katrina and Allen, her spouse of 20 years, with their daughter on the softball field dedicating time coaching, mentoring, and nurturing young women on their AAU Select Team.

Fort Cavazos first brought Marie to central Texas thirteen years ago, but the local area, culture, and business opportunities have kept her here!
Marie served in the US Army as an Adjutant General’s Corps Officer and as a military spouse which blessed her with the opportunity to travel and experience buying/selling real estate in varied markets from the West to East coasts. When her husband retired from the Army Marksmanship Unit, they were happy to settle down and return to central Texas!

Scott Shine has been helping buyers find their dream home in one way or another most of his life. The son of Jean Shine, Scott was recruited periodically in his years growing up in the Fort Cavazos area to assist his mom with her rapidly growing real estate practice. He enjoyed meeting, talking to, and helping all of Jean's clients so much, that upon his graduation from the University of Texas at Austin, he decided to join his mother and his cousin, Rodney, as a full-fledged member of the Shine Team.

Rodney celebrated 20 years of service to relocating families in 2017! Over that period, he has helped more than 7,000 buyers and sellers with their real estate needs.
A 1985 graduate of Temple High School, Rodney is very familiar with the entire Bell County area. Rodney attended Texas Tech University where he earned dual BBA degrees (Accounting and Finance) in May of 1990. After graduation, Rodney returned to the Temple area to assume a staff accountant position with King's Daughters Clinic. Within five years, Rodney had advanced to the position of Chief Financial Officer. In May of 1997, Rodney joined The Shine Team as the Office Manager and Escrow Coordinator.
